H.S.A. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the following purposes:
- To assist parents who are considering homeschooling to
make an informed choice;
- to facilitate an informed community awareness of
homeschooling;
- and to offer support and information to those of all
philosophical persuasions who are homeschooling.
HSA has eight chapters in the Puget
Sound area. The Chapters are Burien, Enumclaw, Federal Way, Issaquah, Kent,
Pierce County, Renton, and Special Needs. Membership entitles you to meeting
attendance and participation in activities and field trips in any of the eight
HSA chapters.
The Homeschoolers’ Support Association is made up
of homeschooling families from a variety of cultural educational and religious
backgrounds who have different motivations, priorities and styles for
homeschooling. We are an inclusive group committed to supporting all
homeschooling families in the common goal of educating our children at home.
