HSA Happenings

HSA publishes a monthly newsletter, the HSA Happenings, which delivers up-to-date homeschool information directly to you at the beginning or each month. The newsletter reaches approximately 700 families in the Puget Sound area. Delivery options include USPS mail or e-mail. Containing all the current details on our many meetings, trips and activities as well as informative articles, this publication provides the best means of keeping current with what is happening in our local homeschooling community.

Advertising

Members may place free homeschool-related classified ads in our newsletter on a space-available basis. See a current issue for details.

Homeschoolers' Support Association (H.S.A.) offers paid advertising space to sponsoring organizations, for goods or services which promote or support H.S.A.'s purpose: to offer support and information to all homeschoolers.

Advertising space may be purchased on a space-available basis, as follows:

Fee schedule:

Full page 6.5” x 9” $165
1/2 page 6.5” x 4 1/2” $85
1/4 page 3 1/4” x 4 1/2” $45
Business-card size 3 1/4” x 2” $25

A discount of 20% per ad is offered for advertisements which are run for three or more consecutive months. Example: Cost for a ¼-page ad for 3 months = $45 x 3 = $135 less 20% = $108.

Requirements:

1. All ads must be in black-and-white.
2. Ads must be in electronic or graphical format (.jpg, .txt, .rtf)
3. Ads must be bordered, measurements conforming to the dimensions of the ad.
4. Ads must be submitted at least one month before publication.
